We understand that due to the Pandemic, this is an option that many people may now consider making part of their approach to dental Care, and we are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about this service.

Denplan customers receive the best possible service from a UK-based call centre from the moment they join, as well as also receiving support from the Team at Lowen Dental Spa.

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps patients pay for their routine and restorative dental treatment.

  • After an initial oral health assessment, you’ll be placed into one of five fee categories, based on oral health need and amount of treatment required 
  • This will determine which fee bracket you fall into. At Lowen Dental Spa these range from Band A at £17.89, to Band E at £66.27
  • Denplan Care prices include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to have this, your monthly fee increases by 60p

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

  • Check-ups
  • Hygiene treatment - including scaling and polishing
  • Dental X-rays
  • Necessary fillings
  • Preventative dental advice and therapy
  • Any necessary extractions
  • Periodontal (gum) treatment
  • Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
  • Root canal treatment

Denplan Care does not cover:

  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentist in the contract which is payable at the private fee rates
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Treatment carried out anywhere other than by the registered dentist
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic dental treatment

 

Denplan Essentials is a popular plan, which helps patients budget for their routine preventative dental care.

  • Seeing a dentist regularly can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments
  • Easy to set up, no pre-assessment necessary. You can even register online
  • You and the Dr Alice will decide how often you need to visit, and which Band you will qualify for.
    Band A – 2 dental check-ups a year, and 2 hygienist appointments Band B – 2 dental check-ups a year, and 4 hygienist appointments
  • You’ll need to pay for any restorative dental treatment necessary, such as crowns, bridges or fillings, but at Lowen Dental Spa, we provide our Denplan Essentials patients with a 10% discount on clinically
    necessary treatment
  • Denplan Essentials prices include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to have this, your monthly fee increases by 60p

Routine dental care includes:

  • Check-ups - up to your claim limit
  • Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment up to your claim limit
  • Dental X-rays
  • Any additional treatment included by your dentist in the contract
  • Preventative dental advice

Denplan Essentials does not cover:

  • Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures - at the discretion of the dentist
  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentist in the contract which is payable to the dentist
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
  • Sedation fees

  • The category a child is placed in is based on the condition of their oral health and the amount of treatment they’ll need
  • This plan focuses on preventative care by providing parents with an easy and economical way to pay for their child to have regular dental check-ups. These help spot early signs of tooth decay or abnormalities so they can be treated quickly Denplan for Children prices include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to have this, your monthly fee reduces by 60p
